― Oscar Wilde

Educational Background

My life and my education have not been a straight course but more of a spiral. I often started one thing and then went on to something else only to find myself years later coming back to the beginning. That is how I see my choice to attend the Library and Information Science program at the University of South Florida. I have now come full circle to my original intention to do something with computers only I had no idea then what the future would hold. I am not sure any of us did.

My current course work and practical work is taking me towards Archives and Digitization. Although I also have an interested in Health and Medical Librarianship, our local public library archives/history deparment has offered me an internship which will officially start in the Fall semester.

I also have an interest in promoting Health information literacy in general and contributing to the work being done to promote research literacy and evidence based practice to massage therapists.
